NOICE CANCELLING SPEAKER MIC
INTREPID+ features Clear Voice Noise Reduction Technology
eliminating unwanted background noises like engines and wind
during transmission. This assures transmissions are crystal
clear.
GPS REPEATABILITY
When connected to your GPS position receiver the INTREPID+ will
display time, date, Latitude/Longitude, Speed Over Ground (SOG),
and Course Over Ground (COG).
MariTEL DSC TELEPHONE
STANDARD HORIZON, through a partnership with MariTEL, "The Marine
Telephone Company," has incorporated a DSC telephone function
that allows subscribers to send and receive telephone calls up to
50 miles from shore. MariTEL offers free calls to towing
companies and additional benefits.
DSC(DIGITAL SELECTIVE CALLING) CAPABILITIES
The INTREPID+ features the official U.S. Coast Guard recognized
version of this technology. In an emergency the INTREPID+ is
capable of sending an automated, unattended, continuous, digital
MAYDAY message that includes current vessel position time/day and
a FCC assigned vessel identification.
NOAA WEATHER ALERT, PROGRAMMABLE SCANNING AND PRIORITY SCAN
INTREPID+
highlights scanning of user selected channels or priority
scanning of Channel 16.
