The 12-parallel GPS WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) receivers enhance the accuracy, integrity, and availability of basic GPS signals, riviling the accuracy of DGPS without the added expense. The backlit 76.8k pixel display (north up or track up) provides clear, easy-to-read graphics and text, while the "Shuttle Point" cursor control provides simple and precise cursor placement. Select small or large data fields. Celestial page with moon and sunrise/sunset times and nearest tide station data. NMEA data page shows depth, speed, water temperature, and wind information. Multi-configuration NMEA data inputs and outputs. Converts TD's to latitude and longitude. VHF DSC distress/position request capable-connect to a VHF with DSC output and the CP series will display directly on screen a distress of position request vessel on chart.
