This unit features dual-frequency operation that provides a clear image in both deep and shallow water, 1,200 feet in saltwater and freshwater all from one transducer. GARMIN's exclusive See-ThruTM technology lets the GPSMAP 235 Sounder hear both weak and strong signals at the same time, giving it tremendous dynamic range. The result is a 4-level grayscale display that shows strong fish returns even when fish are inside structure and thermoclines. Over 25 square inches of active viewing area gives you sizable detail coverage.
